推動國民記憶庫 龍應台盼全民參與

文化部長龍應台指出，我們從小就知道有世界史、國史，解嚴後地方史和村史也紛紛出現，但每個人的生命史與深藏的個人記憶還沒有被廣泛的挖掘，她認為，國民個人的生命史才是國史，為了建構最真實的國史，將啟動「國民記憶庫」台灣故事島的口述蒐錄大行動，鼓勵全民參與。

龍應台強調，民眾可以透過故事蒐錄站、行動列車、或自行利用網站連結，將個人生命經驗或難忘的刻骨銘心記憶，上傳到雲端資料庫保存與分享。
