黃金期貨上個月跌逾5%，是過去八個月來第七次月線收黑。

紐約商品交易所（Comex）黃金8月期貨上周五跌19美元或1.35%，以每英兩1,393美元作收，前市則收漲1.45%至1,412美元，寫下逾兩周來基準黃金期貨的最高收盤價。Atyant資本全球機會基金首席投資組合經理米曼尼（Vedant Mimani）說，黃金期貨上周五收黑，部分原因可能是美國經濟數據強勁引發獲利了結。

黃金期貨5月共跌5.4%，自去年10月以來，只有今年3月避開收黑的命運，反映經濟改善促使投資人遠離黃金等避險資產。

FactSet的資料顯示，今年來黃金期貨已跌近17%。

CPM集團資產管理主管桑契斯（Carlos Sanchez）說：「過去數年黃金投資人對總體經濟的大量憂慮正在消散。他們對經濟指標的看法傾向樂觀，因此許多投資人正在減碼黃金等避險資產。」
